Product Spotlight: The Spice Tailor
We’re always delighted to try new products here at the British Corner Shop offices, especially when they come in edible form – so this week we’re swapping our usual sugary favourites in favour of a fragrant alternative from Anjum Anand’s The Spice Tailor range.
Despite a shared love of food amongst the team, we’ll admit that we’re not all masters when it comes to the kitchen. As much as we intend to set aside time in the week for recipe experiments, unfortunately frantic schedules get in the way of our adventurous culinary intentions.
Luckily for us, this range from The Spice Tailor fits into our mealtimes with ease – offering a simple, quick and authentic taste of India without having to call the local takeaway. So, what is it about The Spice Tailor range that makes it so different to other store bought varieties?

All products are free from artificial colouring and preservatives – offering elegant dinners for those who yearn for a mid-week foodie contrast to pie and mash (yes, sometimes it’s needed). We can also recommend the Keralan Coconut Curry if you have children as its very mild and creamy.
Each packet comes with a delicious pre-prepared sauce and aromatic spices – all cooked and ready to eat within ten minutes. Simply pour the sauce into a frying pan and add your preferred meat, fish or veggie filling – it’s as simple as that! What’s more, there’s room to whip up some fluffy rice and warm up some Naan in the meantime – alternatively, enjoying a glass of something chilled works fabulously too.
