To celebrate Britain’s beverage joining the British Corner Shop family, we thought we’d introduce you to one of our favourite brands: The Taunton Cider Company.

The Taunton Cider Company

The tale of the Taunton Cider Company is one of vicars, apples, boom, bust and regeneration. The story starts in 1805 when a group of Somerset farmers came together and decided to turn their hands to producing amazing cider. Business was booming up until the 1990s when a number of turbulent years saw The Taunton Cider Company effectively disappear. However, a group of cider enthusiasts saved the day in 2015 when they re-registered the company. A great company was re-born.

Members of the British Corner Shop team were lucky enough to visit Taunton Cider on their home turf and got to see how the magic happens!
