Luxury hotels and establishments are where the Dormen Food Company started. From humble beginnings, The Dormen have built a fine heritage as the purveyors and connoisseurs of nuts, supplying snacks to the UK’s finest. The Dormen Nut Company was first created in 1985 as an artisan nut producer in London. Thanks to their exquisite and uniquely flavoured nuts sourced from around the world, The Dormen was an instant success! It wasn’t long until they needed to upgrade to a new facility, so they packed up and moved to Swindon in the early 90’s. This is where they’re still based along with their dedicated team of nut enthusiasts who are obsessed with producing the finest snacks on the market!

Although the team at The Dormen are nuts about nuts, these snack connoisseurs have broadened their horizons to meet demand, including a variety of tasty snacks from Salted Caramel Peanut & Raisin Mix to Wasabi Pea Satay Broadbean & Jumbo Raison Mix.
Their team of nut experts use their tasting know-how to create tantalisingly delicious flavour combinations and truly special snacking moments. We were lucky enough to venture to their ‘Roastery’ in Swindon to see where the magic happens. Each nut is gently fried and toasted in small batches. Once cooled, the mixes are seasoned and double filtered by hand to make sure each bag is up to their premium standard.
The Dormen have travelled far and wide to source only the finest ingredients. Whether it’s perfectly ripe pistachios from Iran or buttery almonds from California – premium quality is at the heart of everything they do.
