Learn about the ‘Recommended for You’ feature at British Corner Shop

Here at British Corner Shop, we're always looking for ways to enhance the shopping experience for customers on our website.

We recently introduced a new feature to our site called the 'Recommended for You' page, to make it easier for you to find your favourites while shopping, and to help you discover new favourites, too.

The Recommended for You page helps you to quickly find products relevant to you, with different options for you to click to help you browse with ease.

'Previously Ordered'

If you're a regular customer, or you have ordered before, you will see the 'Previously Ordered' tab on the Recommendations page.

Every product that you have previously ordered will now show under this section, making it super quick and easy to add your usual favourites to your basket, ready to stock those cupboards up.

Please note, you will need to be logged in to your British Corner Shop account to see this feature.

'My Favourites'

Similarly, if you've been selecting your favourites while browsing by ticking the red hearts next to the products, you'll see them listed under the 'My Favourites' tab.

Again, this just makes it all the more simple for you to add your most-loved British foods to your basket, as you'll find them all in one place.

'Saved Basket'

If you have saved your basket for future purchases, you'll find it under the 'Saved Basket' tab on the Recommendations page.

A very handy feature if you don't want to purchase everything in your saved basket in one go but just want to top up on a few things - you can add items to your current basket from this page with ease.

'Suggestions'

A great new feature on the British Corner Shop site is the 'Suggestions' feature. This shows on the Recommendations page, and also at checkout.

Our site will recommend products to you that we think you will love, based on the contents of your basket. For example, if your basket contains an item such as Bisto gravy granules, our site will recommend other roast dinner favourites such as stuffing, cranberry sauces and the like.

A great way for you to try new products, or to be reminded of things you may have missed! The more items in your basket, the more suggestions you'll receive.

General Recommendations

There are also more general recommendations that you will find in the Recommendations page. For example, you'll see Best Sellers for the country you're ordering to, or our favourite Seasonal lines.
