Stock Availability Explained
Over the last few months, the demand for British food has been exceptionally high, and the additional logistical challenges brought about by BREXIT and COVID-19 has meant we’ve been seeing rising availability issues on some of our most popular products.
The shortage of drivers alone has meant that suppliers are often extending their delivery lead times into us, and in many cases, they are under fulfilling our orders without any notification whatsoever.
Of course, here at British Corner Shop, we are trying to source products from other suppliers as quickly as possible but many of them are experiencing the same challenges as ourselves.
However, regarding our Christmas range we now have a much clearer view of what will and will not be available for the rest of the festive season. To make this clear, all out of stock products have been removed from the website, so everything you can see is available to buy before Christmas based on our current stocks!
We understand some customers may be disappointed they can’t get hold of some of their favourite Christmas products this year but please be assured that we are doing all we can to provide you with the most credible range from which to shop. As an example, we still have over 150 festive lines still available to order in time for Christmas. What’s more, several products have been reduced in price to ensure we offer you the very best value for money based on the excellent service we provide.
If you haven’t yet placed your Christmas order, we would encourage you to do so now as it is unlikely we’ll have any further Christmas deliveries. So, once stock is gone it will not be replaced.
