BCS Bake Along: The Fanciest Cupcake
You can positively smell all the baking that’s occurring nationwide in the UK at the moment, with the ‘Great British Bake Off‘ in full swing! The programme has inspired many to get in the kitchen and try their hand out at whipping up lovely baked goodies and tasty treats to share with their family… or scoff all to themselves.
Whether you like to bake for friends, special occasions or every weekend, we love to see all the inventive creations! We launched The BCS Bake Along to celebrate the baking fever that’s gripping the nation, plus we really wanted to see what our community can create when given a bag of flour and some inspiration.
Our third challenge was for the fanciest cupcake to be created in order to be in to win a Dr Oetker Baking Hamper, and once again we were so happy to see the colourful array of entries!
From Liquorice Allsorts to Tyrrells Popcorn, sprinkles to hearts and berries to glitter; we saw a real magical amount of cupcakes entered into the third challenge. Thank you to all who entered!
The winner is Rosalind Gibbons from Denmark who submitted a divine sponge cupcake with carefully arranged decoration which includes seasonal blackberries. Congratulations, Rosalind! You have won a Dr Oetker hamper.
